the year in books: 2015.

the wonderful world of veena

i managed to read twenty-seven books for pleasure this year, including the first five booker award winners of my lifetime. my goal at the beginning of the year was to read fifteen books for fun, and i am pretty proud that i passed that halfway through the year.

i have done individual write-ups on each book throughout the year, but i thought i would also do a quick overview of my favourites from the year.

my top reads of 2015:

all the light we cannot see [number one read of 2015, hands down];the silver star; to kill a mockingbird; zeitoun; number the stars; i was told there’d be cake; the little prince; the diary of a young girl; i know why the caged bird sings; moon tiger

open your eyes and see what you can with them before they close forever.
