I’ve been hearing great things about Colleen Hoover’s books and I can finally see why. It Ends With Us is the most thought provoking, powerful and gut-wrenching book I have read in a long time. If you’re a fan of Rainbow Rowell or Jennifer Niven then this one is for you.

The novel begins on the day of Lily’s father’s funeral. Lily never had a strong relationship with her father after the abuse her mother suffered at his hands and she is finally free of him. On a Boston rooftop she meets Ryle who is strongly opposed to anything to relationships, that is until he meets Lily. The two quickly fall in passionate love and are soon married despite Ryle’s views on the matter. Along the way, Lily reads…
