I’ve been hearing great things about Colleen Hoover’s books and I can finally see why. It Ends With Us is the most thought provoking, powerful and gut-wrenching book I have read in a long time. If you’re a fan of Rainbow Rowell or Jennifer Niven then this one is for you.
The novel begins on the day of Lily’s father’s funeral. Lily never had a strong relationship with her father after the abuse her mother suffered at his hands and she is finally free of him. On a Boston rooftop she meets Ryle who is strongly opposed to anything to relationships, that is until he meets Lily.
